2. June to August for Everest Base Camp Trek
It is rainy season throughout Nepal during this quarter of trek; most of high alpine expedition and trek are canceled because of bad weather. It used to rain frequently, which cause cancelation on flight of Lukla due to poor visibility. However because of less flow of tourist it is easy to get flight ticket and even after frequent cancelation of flight there are chance of getting ticket on successive flight. Fall time during mid of September to November is best season for trekking without any doubt. 4. December to February for Everest Base Camp Trek
Winter is dominating over Everest Range; everywhere it is full of snow and extreme cold and passes are blocked by gigantic mass of snow over Chola Pass, Renjo La Pass as they are almost impossible to traverse during this quarter of year. However flights are frequent with clear weather but tremendous cold and frequent snow fall in higher area like Dingboche, Pheriche, Lobuche and Gorakshep. While on other sides of Gokyo Lakes entire lake used to be frozen and ski is possible over lakes. Proper winter clothes and gears are essential for Everest base camp trek during this quarter of year.
